We had a wonderful time in England talking about our latest historical thriller, “Days of Atonement” (Faber & Faber). Indeed, we want to thank everyone who made the visit such a pleasant experience. Especially all of the wonderful people who came to the events!
Allan McAvoy made us feel at home at Waterstones, Liverpool, on 9th September.
Richard Reynolds interviewed us with well-aimed questions at Heffers, Cambridge, on 10th September. Canadian writer, Louise Penny (“Still Life”), and husband, Michael, were there.Lisa Zaffi welcomed us to the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrave Square, London, on 11th September, where Maxim Jacubowski charmed us into telling all. Writer Roger N. Morris – “A Gentle Axe,” “Vengeful Longing” (Faber & Faber) – came along to listen and afterwards, to chat.
We must thank Alex Holroyd (Faber & Faber) for arranging the dates, and Laura Davis for a fantastic article – ‘Working with the Mob’ – which appeared on 6th September in The Liverpool Post.
The article can be found on the page above this one.
