Six months ago our website was hacked by pirates.

A mass of recent material – blogs and articles, new reviews and interviews, together with all the photos we had featured in our posts, and all those beautiful pics of the covers of the foreign editions of our novels – disappeared overnight.

It’s tempting to ask why people do such things.

What fun do they get out of it? What had we done to earn their ire?

Tempting to ask, but useless.

The only thing you can do is start all over and hope that it doesn’t happen again.

The real problem has been to find the time to construct a new website. We were working on the third novel in the Seb Cangio series when Umbria was hit by a series of big earthquakes. Our house was only slightly damaged, but it looked for a while as though we might have to move out. There we were, trying to write in the middle of an earthquake, when the hackers pounced!

We didn’t have much leeway with the deadline, but we managed to get the copy in on time. We are proud and pleased to announce that “Lone Wolf” (Seb Cangio #3) will be published by Severn House in the UK on 17th May, 2017. Severn House will also publish the book in the USA in the summer.

And, of course, having finished a book, the prime impulse is to write another one!

That’s what we’re doing at the moment.

On a technical note, our new website has many new features that it didn’t have before. The layout is more animated, easier to view on a phone, tablet or computer. Readers will be able to review the contents more quickly than before. The site is now linked to Facebook and our ‘Fans of Michael Gregorio’ page will be more far more active than ever before.

Many thanks to our web designer, Paolo D’Urso (!

We hope you’ll like it.

We hope you’ll tell us if you find anything wrong.

We hope to see you again and again – we especially welcome blog comments, and promise to respond in double quick time.

Now, it’s time to get writing!
